The Founder's Journey

From Colombia to the Crown — and Then to Houston

Estefany was born in Colombia, where pageantry is celebrated as a revered cultural artform, a rite of passage, and a masterclass in poise and public articulation. Growing up watching extraordinary queens take the national stage, she dreamed of standing under those lights with purpose and a voice that inspired change.

She didn’t just dream – she trained with world-class mentors. She earned the prestigious title of Miss Casanare and went on to compete on the grand stages of Miss Universe Casanare and Miss Mission International. These high-stakes arenas taught her far more than runway choreography – they forged the mental resilience, poise, and grace of a true titleholder.

When Estefany made Houston her home, she brought that elite level of preparation with her. She founded Miss Divinity Academy to bridge professional pageant mechanics with holistic mindfulness — proving that every woman can access the transformative power of royalty.

The Birth of MDA

April 2020. A Pandemic. A Dream That Couldn't Wait.

When the world came to a sudden halt in April 2020, most people paused. Estefany built. She founded Miss Divinity Academy in the middle of a global pandemic – not in spite of the uncertainty, but because women needed self-belief and positive sisterhood more than ever before.

What began as intimate coaching sessions in Houston quickly evolved into a premier multidisciplinary academy: four rigorous training curricula, the annual Reigning Runway fashion showcase, on-campus school leadership workshops, and an online academy welcoming students worldwide.

Every graduate who takes a crown or signs a modeling contract carries the bedrock philosophy that launched it all: The queen is already inside you.
